The file or directory is corrupted and undreadable.Have you ever seen the message above?, yes if your harddrive get corrupted, don’t worries or take action to format your drive, actually that is not a good way.just keep your drive and download the application, Active @ File Recovery from www.file-recovery.net.

Hello: Thanks for the info on data recovery. My problem is that the internal HDD in my dell laptop seems to have corrupted or damaged and the OS wouldnd load. I talked to Dell about this and they have sent me a new HDD. The problem is with the data recovery part. Some of the commercial data recovery firms have awfully huge price tags which is beyond my scope ($500-$2000/-). I wonder if you have any suggestion as to how I can recover data from the corrupted HDD after I remove it (do it yourself.

or you can use getdataback for NTFS if your hdd format type is NTFS

hi. can u help me with this problem. i save all data in my external. the problem is the portable external ( maxtor basics 320Gb) had crash or cause (BSOD) every single pc/ notebook every time i plug in the drive. so how to recover data when we cant even plug it in ? if u got software/ any method can u tell me how.
